Let me start with few questions.
Do you feel that everyday world asks you to learn something new, to make lots of decisions, to be at your best shape, to deal with five tasks at a time? Do you wake up stressed out and go to bed stressed out? Do you find it difficult to slow down, relax and unwind even when you get the opportunity? Do you usually feel lack of energy and unmotivated?
Yes? Keep on reading.
Imagine that tasks we have to do, negative emotions, disagreements, anxiety, tensions and fears are like dusts on the window. When there are only few dusts, we can see clearly, but after some time the layer of dusts becomes so thick that we can’t see anything. Same thing with our mind and body. After a long period of not cleaning our mind, we can’t think clearly. Our thoughts and reactions become generally negative, we feel lack of energy, stressed out, unmotivated and unhappy. And that’s because we do not clean the dusts. Cleaning our mind is necessary if we want to live a happy and high quality life.
But there is one little problem. We do not know how to clean our windows, in other words we don’t know how to relax. Just imagine how your hair would look like after a month of not washing it. So when was the last time you cleaned your mind?
Daily relaxation is crucial for your mind, just like daily teeth brushing is crucial for your teeth.
It’s time to introduce a scientifically proven method of relaxation called Yoga nidra. Yoga nidra is an ancient technique which derived from Indian traditions.
Various studies have been done in order to find the benefits of Yoga nidra. Regular practice of Yoga Nidra:
- Reduces stress and anxiety
- Improves general well being
- Positively affects blood pressure
- Brings joy into your life
- Helps to connect with your True Self
- Enhances memory and learning capacity
- Awakens creativity and intuition.
And it helps you to clean your mind window
Let me give you the description of these two Sanskrit words. “Yoga” means to join, to make a connection, to make union, “Nidra” means sleep. So during the practice of Yoga Nidra one goes into deep relaxation, he is only small step away from sleeping, but he is not sleeping. His consciousness is functioning at a deeper level of awareness. In other words it’s a sleep with full awareness.
Yoga Nidra is a unique method that goes below surface tensions to release stress at its deepest level. During the practice of Yoga Nidra the body sleeps but the mind remains awake listening to the instructions.
Yoga Nidra is easy to practice. You just have to lie on your back and follow the spoken instruction. It is convenient to use audio recording of Yoga nidra.
Yoga Nidra is divided into some stages. If you have enough time you can practice all the stages, that will take about 45 minutes. And there are shorter versions which will take about 15 minutes.
So what do I suggest?
I suggest you to find 20 minutes per day and give Yoga nidra a try. This technique changed my life and I know that it can change yours too. Just find a quiet place, lie down on a yoga mat or on the bed, and listen to the instructions. If you have any questions just write me an email: email@example.com
